Welcome to Deb Alexander's photo album!
I think everyone and their uncle has a
fancier web page than mine, but hell, I'm fairly computer illiterate as
these things go, so I'll take what I can get. This page exists to
"document" my activities, roadtrips, travels, and whatnot... just as an
easy way to
share photos with friends and family. Browse through, download
any photos you want, and let me know if you want the full-size version
of anything emailed to you!

June '10: PERU (again)
I got way behind on updating this, sorry! I will try
eventually to add some things in from the last year and a half...
But for now at least wanted to get these pictures up from our big trek
in Peru! I have divided this into 3 pages, since each will
contain quite a few pictures... Peru

2 has pics from the trek including the
ruins at Choquequirao, and Peru
page 3 has pics from Machu Picchu and
back in Cusco at the end of the trip.
Feb/March '09: Arizona
This is going to become an annual trip. We went to Phoenix for
a few days, stayed with Carolyn and saw some Mariners spring training
games, and then went up to Sedona for some red rock hiking!

Nov-Dec. '08: Thailand!
Here are pictures from the Thailand trip! I had a dummy
digital camera along for snapshots, and
my film camera for slides
as well. (Seemed easier to break them up for this particular
trip, as the slide camera only came out on particular occasions and
didn't really follow the course of the trip...) This, by the way,
will be the last time you'll have to wait so long for me to scan
slides: I just bought a digital SLR!!
Fall '08
This Fall Page has a smattering of things too... Our trip to Marblehead... Kayak camping on Waldo Lake... A visit from Aunt Jan... Merrill's Halloween party (we were "Parasailin' with Sarah Palin!"... Our election night party... and finally, our new dog!!
Summer '08
This summer page has a
smattering of different events, with visits from a few people, our
crazy annual hospitalist summer party, Doug & Masayo's wedding, and
a camping trip to Eagle Creek!
Spring '08
This spring was pretty well dominated by our new house purchase...

March '07
A kayaking trip to Baja!
10 days down there, 6 of them on the
water. Soon enough, you will see pictures of my first few voyages
in my OWN brand new kayak too! Stay tuned...
Spring/Summer/Fall '06
(posted 11/06):
Not many pictures this summer. The summer was filled
up with work and houseguests (unfortunately I didn't take my camera out
for much of that even, or you could've seen the visits from Jeff and
Kim, Aunt Jan, my parents...), and house projects! I did get to
hike a little
bit, but really no pictures that you haven't seen ad nauseum before.
The Crazy House
Projects, though, are worth seeing, and there are some pictures
here! I landscaped my front yard, built a deck in the back, and
added a hot tub. (Yeah, girls with
power tools rock!!)
March '06 Hawaii trip:
In March, Merrill and I went to a conference on the big island of Hawaii...

Yup, it's Deb's
first house!!! I bought it last August, and it's finally
starting to feel like a home, so
here I think it's time to share my progress with you.
Summer/Fall/Winter '05
Okay, I've been a slacker. Spending all my time on my new
house! But here's a brief catch-up page for
the rest of '05!
June-July '05
Galapagos!!! Yup, there
are finally pictures up from my trip to the Galapagos Islands with my
family
(Mom, Dad, Jeff, and his girlfriend Kim!)
A few other pictures also came back on one of those rolls from
Ketchikan (the 2nd stretch there, from February) --those pics will be
up soon...

Okay, so I'm a little behind, putting these pictures up on April
1st... Sorry for making you wait! But here are the
long-awaited pictures from my adventure in Patagonia this winter!
(back to slide film--that'll be my excuse for taking so long...)
And no, Jeff, I did NOT meet the Dread Pirate Roberts. I know you
were wondering.
Winter '04-'05
My locums career has taken me to Ketchikan,
AK for a bit -- I spent a few weeks there on either side of a trip
to Patagonia. Actually as I write this I'm still in Ketchikan,
but figured I'd get a head start on the pictures. The Patagonia
pictures will hopefully be up in a few weeks!
October '04: Nepal!
I spent a month in Nepal,
hanging out in Kathmandu for several days and then trekking for 3 weeks
in the Everest region. My friend Nancy (whom I met while working
on the Navajo reservation last summer) and I joined a group through
World Expeditions for the trek. Because of the number of
pictures I have to show you, I've split it up into 3 pages.

slides from my "real" camera, scanned in to my computer. A few

PERU! My long-awaited world
travels have begun, with a wonderful adventure in Peru. By the
way, these are no longer digital camera pictures -- I took along my
"real" camera, slide film, and finally got around to buying a slide
scanner.
