Bartolome is a fairly young island, so there was little life, but a lot of geology. Old hardened lava flows were everywhere, making for a spectacular landscape. But even in this once harsh environment, life was starting to spring up. Our next stop was the far side of Isabela Island, followed by Fernandina in the afternoon.
