Down at the water, we got a nice view of some typical coastline lined with cliffs.
Looking up at the tower... We paid our 20Krn each to get into the church and it was worth it. Several burial chambers were visible and the craftwork on the tombs was quite impressive. The most recent King to be buried here was buried in 1950.
Curiously, there was no shortage of Italian restaurants, although we didn't eat at any. If you look real closely, you'll see that the next place up the street is also Italian.
It was getting close to the time we were to meet Karin and Magnus again, so we headed back. As we passed the palace, we discovered some sort of Royal Marching Band playing in the entryway.
We walked with Karin and Magnus over to where the tour boat would leave from and they showed us a few things along the way. This is apparently a statue of a Swedish poet.
This park is at one end of the area known for its night life in Stockholm. The statue is of Jöns Berzelius, considered to be the father of Chemistry.
Here's the boat that we'll be taking out to Vaxholm to see a little of the archipelago.
We got a great view of the Vasa Museum... and the top of another passenger's head.
Some scenic coastline still in the "harbor" area.
We kept seeing these little prop planes flying overhead. I don't know what they were doing, but I had to zoom way in to see one.
